9:30 am - So this is how liberty dies...with thunderous applause

I never have subjects...weird. It's also weird that I'm updating.

I saw Star Wars twice this weekend (hence the quote in my subject) and I have realized many differences between Muvico and AMC. At AMC, they give you about 4 nachos and one thing of cheese. At Muvico, there are way to many nachos to eat and two things of cheese that overflow onto that tray thing that they give you (which you don't get at AMC). Muvico also has different trailers than AMC. I thought that what trailers shown depends on the movie, but no, it depends on the theater. (BTW, The Chronicles of Narnia is going to be a movie...I almost cried I was so excited. This may be my new Harry Potter...ok...no.) At Muvico, they don't remind you to turn off cell phones and make sure you know where the exit is (even though the theater is so crowded, short people like me would be stampeded before they got out). The people who work the food lines at Muvico are on speed or something. Elliot should work there. And AMC moviegoers are really annoying. Ok...maybe I was one of those annoying people...but still...

Now I have to go out and buy all the books in the Chronicles of Narnia and reread them. And charge my BRAND NEW LAPTOP COMPUTER.

I feel so young. So fruitful!

I watched the 10th anniversary special of All That. And loved every last moment of it. I miss All That. I used to worship that show.

I also did something else that pushed me back to my childhood. But I can't remember it.

I'm afraid I'm becoming an indie film fan. I don't wanna be an indie film fan. I like regular movies just fine. Stupid Rory Culkin and your silly Mean Creek (which was REALLY good, by the way).

I have to continue the pattern of starting all my paragraphs (if you can call them that) with "I".

I really wish I could think of the other thing.

I'm really angry now.

I have a new favorite movie. It is called A Bronx Tale. I love it. I've seen it twice today. I would quote it but it's all profane.

Watch this movie. It's Robert Deniro...you'll love it.

8:24 pm - ABC?! What is going on?
No new Lost. I was promised the episode before the two hour season finale. Was that a lie? Did you lie to me ABC? Will you show a rerun of Desperate Housewives on Sunday just to finish out your lies? Will Grey's Anatomy be canceled? I hate this channel. But I love it.

I miss heroin.

4:54 pm - "We're the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815"
Lost comes on tonight. Sayid better be in the episode for longer than last episode or I'll be very angry. Everyone knows that he is the best character and the show should be called "The Sayid Hour." Wow. I'd watch it.

I think I'm going to catch up on my journals before I get too far behind. Nah.

6:19 pm - I don't feel well.
History I cannot do
If I want to read Siddhartha too.
An Oedipus worksheet I've yet to begin,
A novel by Anne Rice called Violin.
Along with study for a Trig test
When all I want to do is rest.

I'm a terrific poet.

And that was a terrific lie.

5:45 pm - Oh the Woes of Thievery
I stole all the Sharpies.

All of them.

Even some Expo markers that just happened to be in the pack.

They don't deserve the Sharpies anyway. THey don't take care of them. Most of them aren't even closed all the way.

I'm bored. I need to do something. Not just right now, but always. I feel stuck in a routine.

Maybe I'll become a better student...nope.

I think I had that dream before. But I kept putting it off.

3:38 pm - What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to cheat on a Macbeth test...
A big, fat, completely blown out of proportion mess. But oh well. Its almost over. Hopefully.

Oh great. Its lent. I think I'll give up.....food. Thats it. No food for me.

This week, I took a math test, a theater quiz, two english tests, a history test and a chemistry test. Thats a lot of testing.

I'm starving.

Oh yeah! Now, on the O.C., there are lesbians. Maybe next season they will have black people on it.

I want to update but I don't know what to write about. Maybe I'll write about my rubberband ball. I'll do that later.

On New Year's Eve, my sister and I went to the Inner Harbor where we watched the fireworks and dancing drunk people. Then we tried to leave but of course, I let her lead the way so we were completely lost. She was too embarrased to ask the many police for directions to the train station so we wandered around. We got to this one street that was really bright for some reason and then I realized why. Yes, it was full of "adult entertainment" and a drunk man telling us we shouldn't be there because we are babies and we should go home. After we got off this block, we got to this one street and I knew that we were really close to the highway and I knew how to get to Port Discovery from there and there is a train station there and we finally got on a train and went home. And it was cold. And I'm really bored and I'm tired of bored-eating so I need to go back to school.

Today was absolutely spiffy. Yesturday, not so much. Well, thats a lie. It was. Just one incident.Collapse )

And today, I didn't do a single thing. I slept through math, my watch glass broke in chemistry but other than that, we just popped popcorn, I wrote a crappy essay in History, I stared comatosely in space through english, i lunched through lunch, i wandered through journalism with Ilana, I did spanish class stuff through spanish class and I talked through theatre.

School should be more challenging than this...but I'm not complaining.

Well the weather outside is frightful....And I'm putting off my history homework. And I have to do my English report tonight. Or at least read the book and chose which project.

AAARRRRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!

Save me!!!

The Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys is a really funny movie. But I find humor in everything. I was hysterical during Saw. Man...that was soooo funny.

Ok. This sucks. My options: 1)Pull an allnighter to finish English and History yet fail The Element Quiz to End All Element Quizzes or 2) Cram for TEQTEAEQ (Q's make me giggle) and have 2 consecutive zeros in History and pull an allnighter tomorrow night for English. I seem to have to chose between other classes and Chem. a lot. I pick the first option.

I hate GT. Why can't I be like educationally challenged like every other black person in my school? But no...I have to be all gifted and such. Stupid me. College Bound.

I want ice cream but my stomach hurts too much to eat any.

I'm really starting to get upset with myself.

And Malcolm in the Middle had better come on tonight if football knows whats good for it. Foot+ball=pain in more than one way.

GO DO YOUR HOMEWORK!!!

John Mayer - Daughters Lyrics
I know a girl
She puts the color inside of my world
She's just like a maze
Where all of the walls all continually change
And I've done all I can
To stand on her steps with my heart in my hands
Now I'm starting to see
Maybe it's got nothing to do with me

Fathers be good to your daughters
Daughters will love like you do
Girls become lovers who turn into mothers
So mothers be good to your daughters too

Oh, you see that skin?
It's the same she's been standing in
Since the day she saw him walking away
Now she's left
Cleaning up the mess he made

Fathers be good to your daughters
Daughters will love like you do
Girls become lovers who turn into mothers
So mothers be good to your daughters too

Boys, you can break
You'll find out how much they can take
Boys will be strong
And boys soldier on
But boys would be gone without warmth from
A woman's good, good heart

On behalf of every man
Looking out for every girl
You are the god and the weight of her world

So fathers be good to your daughters
Daughters will love like you do
Girls become lovers who turn into mothers
So mothers be good to your daughters, too
So mothers be good to your daughters, too
So mothers be good to your daughters, too
